However, fan-made contributions are more than welcome, they are also admired and fawned over. In the case of fan works, copyright is shared with the artist and the author of the novel, and the creator of a fan work is welcome to share their fan work as they see fit. It would be really nice if either a link to or mention of the original work is included somewhere with your piece when sharing it outside of the Trapdoor website, but it’s certainly not required.
